The Aiden boys are definately not "goth" nor is their music, they are far from it.

I agree that there were some better choices for best newcomer but considering that the Aiden boys havent been a band for more than like, 2 years... and are taking the world by storm, I think they are just getting the credit they deserve.

i like them; they rock, and are amazing live but they have had only 2 albums out, their 3rd one unrealsed yet.. but come on!!!! BEST BAND ON THE PLANET?..GET REAL!!! they should have won another award, but not this one! i know they put all their hearts into what they do, but this award should have gone to a band who have been around for a lotttttttttttttttt longer, who have more talent, more albums, and who just simply rock harder! i am extremley dissapointed with the outcome of this award, and very very very annoyed. i know they have a hell of a lot of fans, and i paid 20 summat quid for one of their albums wid these live cds in..but come on!!!!
plus i would like to say how a lot of bands are very very very over rated. take p!atd for instance..i like them, i have their album, i don't care if you hate them because i don't. But they have had what is it??? one album out!!! and there already this massive mainstream band. well done to them and everything for what they've achieved.. but what about bands like inme ??? there music , in my opinion, is just the most beautiful music you will ever listen to in your life, considering their only a trio aswell!!! they are such an amazing band, and are under rated. you guys should check out bands who are not mainstream aswell! ..their both as good as eachother!! keep rockin ppl ! x x x

From what i remmber, they have said they are a clash with Emo AND goth! as two of the band members do get called emo and all. and there lryics do have alot of meaning! And the song Die Romanic, was baced on a girl that wiL knew, that commited suidcide.
